Language arts stations were art filled this week! To go along with the -ot word family, we read The Dot and made our own dot- using glue, salt, and water colors! Students saw how the salt absorbed the water colors and made a very cool pattern on the page.
In math, we wrapped up our subtraction unit. We used "Frogs on logs" as manipulatives, to tie into our language arts lesson on the -og family. We also did a fun craftivity about a leprechaun losing his gold! Wish he had lost some in our classroom ;)
